🌻 About The Sunflower Letter

The Sunflower Letter began as “Oshun & ’N’em” (or oandnem)—a subscription-box and spiritual supply store steeped in traditional African, Indigenous, and Southern-rooted traditions, religions, folklore, and magic. I enjoyed the idea of oandnem, but struggled greatly to find the voice of this venture. It was over time that I realized I was not craving (more) products, but actually community, reflection, and ritual.

Though oandnem are still very much around, The Sunflower Letter is that dedicated ritual I was seeking.

Each month, I will craft and share a letter inspired by the muses. Inside, you will find reflections, stories, and simple rituals that weave together moon cycles, ATR, Southern folk wisdom, esoteric practice, ancestral reverence, and whatever else I discover spiritual and magnificent that floats my fancy. I consider this as a letter from my altar to yours: cozy, rooted, and imperfect. I walk this path as a student of my own practice, tending spirit in the everyday grief, sweetness, and in-between. I invite you to join me.

I still am not exactly sure where this road will lead, but I do know it is better walked together.
